Now it may be January and it is cold, wet, windy or even snowing where you are, but here on the coast we are enjoying our traditional winter sunshine.

It has been confirmed in the Brexit negotiations that people living in the EU will continue to have the same rights as now, so long as they live here before the UK exits the European Union, which is presumably March 2019.  This means that workers, the self-employed, students and the retired, as well as economically inactive citizens of any age continue to enjoy their rights.  So any transition before this time will indeed be advantageous.

The second thing to consider is the prices of properties, regardless of your home country.

The house prices have shot up yet again in the final quarter of 2017 by 2%, some areas by as much as 5%.  It has been said that the market is growing more slowly but more in line with the wider economy.  This will have the effect on both current and future home prices and rents and we will see prices continue to rise.
